Backer Rod: Backer Rod is sold in a variety of diameters and is a round, flexible, continuous length of closed-cell, extruded polyethylene. Backer Rod is used with silicone, elastomeric and other cold-applied sealants and caulks. It is used around doors, windows and other construction joints to either reduce the amount of caulking required or to produce an ideal joint shape. Backer Rod is sold by the case.

Attic Stairway Covers

The attic stairway covers are made from 2 pound polystyrene and feature tongue and groove construction.  They represent the best way to insulate pull-down stairways.  The smaller cover fits 22" x 56" openings and is 8 1/2" tall.  The new large stairway cover is 30" x 56 1/4" x 11".

Switch and Outlet Gaskets and Safety Caps

These closed cell foam switch and outlet gaskets are UL approved.  They are used with safety caps to prevent air infiltration along outside walls.

Air Conditioner Covers

Our heavy gauge vinyl air condition covers with straps and fasteners keep out drafts and dirt while providing a degree of insulation.  The covers come 12 to a case.

Water Heater Jackets

These water heater jackets are for use around gas, oil or electric water heaters up to 60 gallon capacity. They are vinyl-faced fiberglass blanket kits and include the straps.  The jackets are individually bagged and vacuum packed for storage.
