CONSTRUCTION FILM (POLY)
Construction film or polyethylene sheeting is utilized in a wide variety of applications. It can function as a vapor barrier to protect concrete slabs and foundations. When used in walls during construction, poly can prevent most air and moisture infiltration, thus improving the energy efficiency of the structure.
Poly is stocked in both clear and black. Poly is quoted weekly and cost is determined by the size of the order. When you order 2,000 pounds or more (sizes can be mixed), the freight is paid. There is a price break at 5000 pounds and another at 10,000 pounds. Clear and black are the same price.
The following table showing commonly stocked sizes, weight per roll and rolls per pallet should be helpful in determining your needs. Sizes, mils, and clear and black can be mixed to reach minimum for free freight or to reach price breaks.
